Hydrolysed Cat Food

Teepee Hydrolysed is our Hydrolysed protein, dry & complete food for cats! It has been developed for cats that suffer from the following issues:

1. Digestive issues including soft stools, diarrhoea, vomiting and general digestive upset
2. Skin, Coat & Hairball issues including excessive hair loss, skin irritation, itching, biting or and/or scratching at the skin
3. Urinary issues. By balancing urine pH it helps stop crystals and stones forming

Teepee Hydrolysed uses a high proportion of steam cooked, fresh muscle meat. The meat is hydrolysed during the cooking process by the addition of a naturally occurring enzyme. Furthermore, Teepee Hydrolysed is completely grain free.

Hydrolysing breaks the larger, intact protein molecule down into it’s constituent peptides and amino acids. These much smaller molecules have a significantly lower chance of being detected by the body.

Consequently, the risk of an allergic reaction or intolerance is greatly reduced. Effectively the smaller peptides and amino acids ‘fly under the radar’ so are not ‘seen’ by the body. Therefore, there is nothing to react to.

Not only does hydrolysing break protein molecules down, it also greatly increases the smell and taste of the food. As a result, Teepee hydrolysed cat food is suitable for even the fussiest of cats.
