Deer Antlers (Stag Bars)

Description

Deer Antler dog chews are tough. Really tough!

Stags (adult male deer) in the wild, battle (rut) each other annually in autumn. This rutting usually involves head on head, deer antler collisions between sparring males. It is quite a sight and there is a lot of power colliding when their antlers clash!

Rutting is what they are designed to do so Mother Nature has made them strong. Furthermore, once the season is over, deer antlers are naturally shed. This is to make way for new antlers to grow, ready for the next Rut. The shed antlers are then collected and prepared, ready for your dog!

As a result of these numerous high energy impacts during the Rut, deer antlers are very strong. Consequently, they make great natural dog chews! Some of their other features and benefits are:

• Virtually odourless to humans (but not to a dog’s sensitive nose!)
• Stainless, so great for chewing in the house
• Packed full of Calcium and minerals
• Long lasting and engaging chews that promote the production of endorphins (the happiness hormone!)
• Great for dental health. Though as with anything a dog chews, there is always a potential risk to be aware of
• As deer antler dog chews are a completely natural product, size and shape may vary
