Teepee 80/20 High Meat Content Dog Food

Teepee 80/20 is our flagship, high meat content dog food. Moreover, it is made using top quality ingredients! For instance, 80% meat content, 20% fruit, veg and botanicals and no grain. Furthermore Teepee 80/20 is a steam cooked kibble. As a result, a much higher proportion of fresh meat can be used.

Similarly, steam cooking does not cause the same damage to protein as can happen with standard processing. In addition, steam cooking greatly improves flavour and smell. As a result, this high meat content dog food is more easily absorbed by the body. Consequently, this means lower feeding quantities and less poo to pick up!

Moreover, by using the unique Freshtrusion™* process, Teepee 80/20 is a safe and convenient alternative to raw feeding. For instance, Teepee 80/20 offers the same levels of nutrition and quality ingredients as a raw diet but in a more stable form. This is because the food is already steam cooked and in biscuit form. Therefore, it does not require freezing like raw dog food. As a result, it can be stored at room temperature.

Furthermore, some of our customers who feed raw normally will bring a bag of 80/20 when they take their dog on holidays. In doing so, they avoid the hassle of transporting frozen, raw food with no compromise on quality.

Grain Free

As a result of many years of selling various dog foods, we have found that more dogs are starting to have issues with grain-based diets. For instance, it could be digestive upset, skin issues or even behavioural issues. Moreover, in many of these cases, a switch to a grain free diet has helped and sometimes resolved the problem.

Consequently, we launched Teepee 80/20 to offer a high meat content dog food with a low level of carbohydrates. As well as providing a nutrient dense biscuit thanks to the highly digestible protein and carbohydrate sources, we further boosted the ingredient make up with the addition of 20 different herbs, botanical and superfoods!

How much should you feed?

Teepee 80/20 dog food comes with suggested feeding quantities. However, these are purely a guide. For instance, the following factors can have an affect on feeding amounts:

• individual breed.
• metabolic rate.
• level of activity.
• neutering.
• age of the dog.
• sex of the dog.
• ambient living temperature etc.

As a result, adjust feeding quantities as necessary. Remember, no matter how good a food is, too much is no good! For example, over feeding will usually lead to poor digestion, soft poo and of course weight gain. Furthermore some coat or skin problems in dogs can be linked to overfeeding. Similarly, underfeeding will affect their ability to maintain a healthy bodyweight and general health.

Teepee 80/20 Breeder Packs are designed for households with multiple dogs or working/sporting dogs. As a result they are Vat free. However, if you do not have working dogs, reduce the suggested feeding quantities by about 10%.

Is this the best dog food to feed my dog?

A high meat content dog food is often considered the best dog food. However this is not always the case. This is because it very much depends on your dog. For instance, they may do better on a food with a slightly lower meat content or different ingredients. Therefore it can be a good idea to look at a variety of different dog foods before selecting one.
