Grain Free Kibble
Sweet Potato is used as an alternative to grain in our chicken dog food. Firstly, it is an excellent complex carbohydrate. It is also high in B Vitamins. How much should you feed?

- metabolic rate.
- level of activity.
- neutering.
- age of the dog.
- sex of the dog.
- ambient living temperature etc.
As a result, adjust feeding quantities as necessary. Remember, no matter how good a food is, too much is no good! For example, over feeding will usually lead to poor digestion, soft poo and even coat or skin problems. Not to mention weight gain. Wow what an awesome product my two french bulldogs absolutely love this food. After having some teeth out and swapping to this food my 7 year old Frenchie is now like a new puppy again, running on walks, eating all her food, majour reduce in food licking and were only on the third bag. We were looking for a dry food to feed our 2 Goldies on after moving away from raw feeding. Both dogs were struggling to maintain weight. Cormac’s advice was comprehensive and led us to choose this food. I’m happy to say that they both love the food and have both put on weight, and bulked out. We used to show both dogs regularly but stopped for a while. When the older of the two, Barclay, had bulked out a bit we entered him into a limit show and he picked up two second places in Gundog classes against several other breeds of gundog.

Thank you to the team at Pet Experience for talking me through the dog food options. I have two toy poodles – one very tiny for whom kibble size is an issue and the other with a significant skin allergy problem that requires her to be on daily apoquel tablets. I had been feeding two different foods as result – both well known premium brands – indeed the food for the allergy prone dog was only available on prescription through the vet. Not only was this inconvenient is was also horribly expensive. Anyway, over a couple of weeks both dogs were switched to Teepee chicken with sweet potato. Both really like it (and poodles can be fussy – who knew!). They are small dogs anyway but a little still goes a long way so it’s cost effective. The poodle with the allergies remains on the apoquel but she’s definitely improved with less scratching (previously I’d been heading back to the vets to say the beneficial effects of the medication were wearing off). The little boy can manage the kibble size despite his tiny teeth and they are both full of beans, racing around the garden like I haven’t seen for a very long time. Thank you team, I am eternally gratefully.

We have been feeding our large breed dog Teepee dry food for almost a year now. We were looking for an alternative for our high nutrition food that had rapidly shot up in price. Our Lab loves this food and all the favours it comes in. He has strong bright white teeth and his coat is just amazing, we feed him around 220grams a day twice a day and nothing else apart from training treats.
