K9 Elemental

We launched K9 Elemental dog food in response to the cost of living crisis. It is a simple and straight forward complete food, providing good quality, wholesome nutrition. It is also a hypoallergenic dog food which can help manage many types of skin, digestive and behavioural issues.

We have chosen to label K9 Elemental as a working dog food. Consequently, we do not have to charge VAT on the food making it VAT FREE! However, despite the label saying ‘working dog’, it is perfectly suited to domestic dogs.

By keeping to basic ingredients with no unnecessary extras, K9 Elemental offers an excellent cost-effective alternative to more expensive, big brand hypoallergenic foods. Furthermore, all packaging is 100% recyclable.

Since introducing K9 Elemental dog food to our range of hypoallergenic diets in 2022, we have seen a number of customers make the change. Often customers have been feeding well known brands of dog food and make the switch to save some money.

However, sometimes we find that the opposite is true. Some customers have been feeding cheaper, supermarket style dog foods in an attempt to cut costs. Yet this can often have unexpected and unwanted results such as random illness due to changing ingredients.

Moreover, feeding quantities in cheap pet food tend to be higher. This type of food generally uses poorer quality ingredients in lower quantities. So although you may pay less per kilo, you can end up feeding much larger portions, at greater expense.
